The Tekbox TBMDA-BCI100 modulated wideband power amplifier provides the necessary modulation and bandwidth for accurate immunity testing (per ISO 11452-4) with BCI probes. Designed to be driven by a signal generator, a tracking generator (through the internal AM / PM modulator) or a spectrum analyser, it operates at a bandwidth from 1 to 400MHz. With a 1dB compression point up to 110W, it can also generate test levels up to Level IV with AM and Level IV with CW.
Furthermore, it has sufficient gain to achieve maximum output power with 0dBm provided by a spectrum analyser tracking generator. In PM mode, the amplifier can also generate a 217Hz signal with a 12.5% duty cycle in order to simulate mobile phone TDMA noise.
