The Tekbox TBMDA5 is a wideband amplifier which provides the necessary power, bandwidth and modulation for immunity testing in the a frequency range from 150 kHz to 400 MHz.
The amplifier can be connected to the tracking generator output of a spectrum analyser.
Moreover, this amplifier is ideal to drive field probes or generate electrical fields with a TEM cell.
The test signals can be CW, AM or PM modulated. Furthermore, the TBMDA5 offers a built-in modulation possibility to generate 1kHz AM-/PM signals.
Also, The TBMDA5 has sufficient gain to achieve maximum output power with 0 dBm provided by a spectrum analyser tracking generator.
In PM mode, the amplifier can also generate a 217 Hz signal with a duty cycle of 12.5% to simulate the TDMA noise of a mobile phone.
A similar modulated power amplifier with a 100 kHz to 75 MHz frequency range can be found here.
WARNING:
Never connect the output of the TBMDA5 directly to the input of a spectrum analyzer. Check the maximum input ratings of the spectrum analyzer and protect it with an appropriate attenuator. Open or shorted load is not recommended, can potentially cause damage.
