Recently updated my workshop with Atten ST-909 soldering station. First impressions are great.

It is very fast and also quite powerful, so it makes soldering process very efficient. It literally takes few seconds to warm up even from room temperature. I don’t have any soldering station calibration tools, so I can’t comment how precise this station shows the tip temperature.

Interface is really simple and easy to use. I like it.

The tip selection is great. Price for one tip is also very friendly. Tip change is easy. However the soldering iron holder does not have any space for spare tips, that means I store my spare tips separate from the station. For me it is not a problem. For some it might be.

I like the soldering iron. It is ergonomic and hand placement is close to the tip.

So far I don’t have any problems with Atten ST-909 soldering station. I do recommend it.
