Menu is brief and simple. I have bought this and used for a week. I haven't even charged fully but the battery is holding really good. The image quality is okay, sometimes it gets a bit annoying that the sensor keeps recalibrating often, and when measuring high temperatures - there is a lot of bouncing in the +-3*C Range. Devices is nice to hold. The laser is not the brightness, have not tried using it in sunny light - because my country hasn't had a non rainy day yet.
This is the best thing on the market, because of its price and >25HZ refresh rate. The older models are all 9hz which is horrible to use. The load time is ~6-7Seconds to turn on, even thought it is advertised as 5. I really recommend this device. Perfectly usable for SMD work without any additional lenses.
The biggest downsides are that the software is not support for Linux. And the temperature bouncing with "recalibrating" onscreen often.
