The Thermal Master P3 is a thermal imaging camera compatible with both Android and iOS phones, designed for a wide range of electrical inspections. Featuring a good 256x192 resolution, which can be improved up to an impressive 512x384 resolution clarity using the X³ IR resolution software. Furthermore, the P3 has a high sensitivity with an NETD of <35mK and can detect leakage currents as low as 1mA. However, it features an 8mm adjustable macro lens that allows manual focus for extreme close-up inspections — making it ideal for detecting tiny components such as 0.25mm resistors. The camera has a range from 8mm to 80m.
The camera operates in a wide temperature range of -20 to 600°C with an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%. It’s suited for various applications, including detailed PCB analysis, HVAC troubleshooting, and electrical system diagnostics. Finally, the P3 has some nice features, including IQ+ precision temp, which can dynamically compensate for temperature drift, including ambient temperature.
