Thermal Master P2 Pro thermal camera for Android

The Thermal Master P2 Pro is a professional thermal imaging camera that transforms your Android smartphone into a high-precision temperature measurement tool. With a 256×192 IR resolution, which can be upscaled to an impressive 512x384 resolution using the X³ IR resolution software, 25Hz frame rate, and ≤40 mK NETD, it delivers sharp, real-time thermal images with exceptional sensitivity and detail.

Its magnetic macro lens allows for extreme close-up inspection of small components, ideal for PCB analysis, microsoldering, and electronics repair. The accompanying Thermal Master app includes AI-based image enhancement functions that improve clarity and contrast, ensuring reliable results in both professional and home inspections.

The camera operates over a wide temperature range from −20°C to 600°C with ±2°C or ±2% accuracy. It supports multiple measurement modes, up to 15× digital zoom, and advanced viewing options such as picture-in-picture. Fusion mode, on the other hand, is not present on this camera, but it is not a major shortcoming either, since the camera has high resolution. The app enables live thermal and visible image blending for precise hotspot identification.

Compact and lightweight at only 9g, the P2 Pro connects directly via USB-C, with no batteries or external power required. It is perfectly suited for HVAC maintenance, home inspection, automotive diagnostics, and electronic testing. The Android version cannot be used on a iOS device with a USB-C connection. An iOS version with a lightning connection is also available.
