The Thermal Master P1 is an entry-level thermal imaging camera module that turns any USB-C Android phone, iPhone, iPad or Windows laptop into a thermal imaging tool. It plugs directly into the host device's USB-C port and works with the free Thermal Master app to display live thermal images.
The P1 has an IR resolution of 160x120 (19200 pixels), which can be upscaled to 320x240 using the Razor X AI image algorithm. It measures temperatures from -20°C to 600°C at a 25Hz refresh rate, with a thermal sensitivity under 40mK. The camera has a 52°x39° field of view, and offers twelve colour palettes. Emissivity, distance, and ambient temperature can all be manually changed from inside the app.
The P1 is very compact compared to handheld thermal cameras and is powered entirely by the host device, so no internal battery or external supply is required. This makes it ideal for applications such as electrical inspection, HVAC work, automotive diagnostics, and home leak or insulation checks.
Note: The P1 connects via USB-C. For older iPhones and iPads with a Lightning port, an optional USB-C (female) to Lightning (male) adapter is available separately.
