The Thermal Master P2 for Android is an easy-to-use portable thermal camera, which turns any Android smartphone with USB-C into a thermal imaging camera. The P2 has a measurable temperature range from -20℃ to 600℃, an IR resolution of 256x192 pixels (can be upscaled to 512x384), and a framerate of 25Hz. The thermal camera also features a 15x zoom function, with 1.5℃ PCB accuracy. With various functionalities such as colour palettes, target highlighting and analysis methods, the P2 fits many application cases. Because of the camera's small form factor, power over USB-C and light weight of only 9.7 grams, it is ideal to use on-site without having to use any external devices other than a phone, tablet or computer with the Thermal Master connected.
Please note: this version is only usable with Android devices, using the P2 with iOS devices using a USB-C port will not work.
One possible downside of this model is the lack of a macro lens, which is not available. Therefore, it might be wise to consider the pro model: the P2 Pro. For the P2 pro, an optional macro less is available, as well as support for IOS.
