Details
The Raythink IX2 AIR is a wireless thermal camera for smart devices, designed for electrical maintenance, equipment inspection, HVAC leak detection and circuit board repair. The IX2 AIR measures from -20 to 550°C with separate low and high measurement ranges. It uses a 256 x 192 infrared detector with a <40mK sensitivity, helping users identify hot spots and abnormal temperature patterns in real time.
The camera can be attached to a smartphone or used separately, making it useful for inspecting awkward angles and confined spaces. It includes a 2MP visible-light camera and supports multiple image modes, making it easy for users to identify issues. The device also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support for wireless operation, while the app is useful for real-time and offline temperature analysis. Finally, with an IP54 protection rating, a phone clamp, tripod socket, it is practical for field inspection work. However, the battery life is only 2 hours.
