Fotric TP320A thermal imaging camera for Android
Details
The Fotric TP320A is a thermal imaging camera for Android phones, meant for quick inspections in electrical maintenance, HVAC work and building surveys. Its 320x240 detector is sharper than the 256x192 found in most smartphone thermal cameras, so a warm terminal or a missing patch of insulation shows up as a recognisable shape rather than a vague blob. The <35mK sensitivity picks up small temperature differences early, and the 60°x45° field of view keeps a full cabinet in one frame.
The camera measures from -20 to 550°C and analyses up to 3 spots, 3 lines and 3 boxes at a time. All of it runs in the free Fotric GENIE app, which shows a live thermal image with adjustable emissivity, ambient temperature and target distance, tracks the hottest and coldest points, and triggers an alarm at a set threshold. Photos and MP4 recordings are saved to the phone, and the app turns a selection into a Word or PDF report on the spot. The images also open in Fotric's AnalyzIR desktop software.
The camera comes as a complete kit with a handle tripod, extension rod, magnetic base, ball head mounts and a magnetic phone holder. Note that the TP320A requires Android 12 or later.
