Fluke 1587 FC insulation multimeter

The Fluke 1587 FC is a True-RMS insulation meter combined with a digital multimeter, capable of testing up to 1000V and 50 MΩ. It features temperature, capacitance and frequency measurement, a lo-pass filter, a diode tester and a MIN/MAX function. For extra convenience, it has a large display with backlight, an automatic power off function to save battery, an auto-discharge of capacitive voltage and a live circuit detection for added user protection.
What makes this model unique in comparison to the Fluke 1577 is that it can connect with the Fluke Connect Measurementst app, giving it the capability of monitoring from a distance. It gains powerful new diagnostic functions through this app.
First, it allows for a PI/DAR timed ratio graph, easily identifying moisture and contamination problems. Secondly, the app provides memory storage and historical tracking over time. Furthermore, the Temperature Compensation function establishes accurate baselines and relevant historical comparisons and lastly, it is capable of measuring degradation over time through its historical tracking.
