The UNI-T UT526 is a multi-functional meter for testing insulation, detecting ground faults, measuring continuity, and measuring voltages. Compared to similar meters, this meter includes a residual current device (RCD) mode that detects ground faults and trips the circuit if it detects a current leak. It can also measure AC/DC voltage up to 440V, which is sufficient for residential and commercial buildings. Furthermore, it can test insulation resistance up to 1000V and 500MΩ, and also measure frequency from 20 to 100Hz; however, this measurement should only be used for reference, as it is not accurate. If you require an insulation tester with a more precise frequency measurement, consider the UT505B.
