The UT505B from UNI-T is an insulation tester intended for measuring insulation resistances, AC/DC voltages, capacitance, resistance and continuity.
The UT505B can be used in insulation resistance testing of precision tools, including motors, cables, transformers, switches, electrical appliances, and insulated materials.
The UT505B can measure AC/DC voltages up to 600 volts, as well as resistances up to 10MΩ
The meter can measure large insulation resistances and display them on the 6000-count screen. This allows it to measure insulation resistances up to 200GΩ.
In addition, the UT505B can measure insulation for 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V.
The multimeter is also capable of storing data of up to 99 groups.
As an extra functionality, the UT505B can also measure DAR ('dielectric' absorption ratio), from which, it can be assessed whether the insulation is in good condition.
