Siglent SSA3075X-Plus spectrum analyser

The Siglent SSA3075X Plus spectrum analyser is an extension to the existing SSA3000X Plus series and comes with a gigantic bandwidth from 9 kHz to no less than 7.5 GHz. The resolution of the measurement can be set from as little as 1 Hz, making it possible to measure very precisely. A striking feature of this spectrum analyser is the low noise that affects the signal. Only -165 dBm/Hz is the typical noise the analyser experiences. The PLUS series is in many ways similar to its predecessor, only the PLUS series has a touch screen display and standard tracking generator. There are also several options available for the PLUS series.

With the bandwidth up to 7.5 GHz, almost all common wireless communication frequencies can be easily measured. For example GSM signals, which start at 380 MHz and run up to 1.9 GHz, are easy to measure with these meters. A handy optional feature for measuring radio signals is the ability to easily measure Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR), a requirement for radio communication, because the available bandwidths should not overlap.

On the large 10.1 Inch touchscreen WVGA screen of 1024 by 600 pixels there is a lot of space to display the measured data. With the possibility to use up to 4 cursors at the same time, extensive information can easily be extracted from the data. This data can be displayed on a screen at the same time as the measured waveform. It is also possible to read out and control the analyser via the multiple interfaces.
