The SDRplay RSPdx is a 14 bit wideband RF receiver in a metal casing, covering the 1kHz - 2GHz frequencies (VLF, LF, MW, HF, VHF, UHF and L-band) without any gaps. An entire 10MHz spectrum can be monitored at a time. The receiver provides three (software controlled) antenna inputs, and an external clock input. It is powered by the USB port.
After connecting it to a computer (via USB 2.0) and an antenna, its functions are controlled by the free downloadable professional software like SDRuno, SDRconnect, SDRangel, SDRconsole, HDSDR (voor MacOS, Linux en Windows), Ortac en Ortac AIS. A documented API allows developers to also create new demodulators or applications around the platform.
