The Harogic PXN-45-TG is a real-time handheld spectrum analyser covering 9kHz to 4.5GHz, supplied with the built-in tracking generator (opt.60) already installed. It uses a superheterodyne receiver with a full-band preamplifier and up to 14 preselector filters, delivering 50MHz of real-time analysis bandwidth, a sweep speed up to 1THz/s, a -110dBc/Hz phase noise at 10kHz offset and a -168dBm/Hz DANL. A 10.1-inch multitouch screen and an integrated battery round out a portable instrument of just 1.5kg.
The tracking generator covers 1MHz to 4.5GHz with an output level from -20dBm to 0dBm in 0.25dB steps, and runs in tracking, fixed-point, frequency sweep and power sweep modes.
The PXN series stands out for its open platform. It runs Raspberry Pi OS on a Raspberry Pi CM5, so alongside the bundled SAStudio4 software it is possible to install or develop applications using the well-documented SDK and API. SCPI remote control is supported for automated test setups.
Where most brands sell the measurement suite as a set of paid options, the PXN series includes it as standard. SAStudio4 covers swept and gapless real-time spectrum analysis, IQ streaming with DDC, power detection to 16ns resolution, phase noise measurement from 1Hz to 10MHz offset, harmonic analysis to the tenth harmonic and GNSS mapping, alongside the following measurement functions:
