The Tekbox TBL05100-1C 5µH 100A is a single-channel LISN (Line Impedance Stabilisation Network) used in EMC testing to measure conducted noise on the supply line of DC/AC-powered devices. This LISN operates in the frequency range of 10kHz to 400MHz according to CISPR 16-1-2 and CISPR 25. The LISN is placed into the power line of the DUT (Device Under Test). With a spectrum analyser or measurement receiver, conducted noise at the DUT supply terminals can be monitored at the RF connector. Two TBL05100-1-C units can be used in conjunction with the Tekbox TBLM02 LISN mate, allowing common-mode and differential-mode noise to be measured separately. The LISN can be configured for standards such as CISPR 25, MIL-STD-461G, ISO 11452-4 and ISO 7637-2 using internal jumper settings, while DO-160 setups require an external 10µF capacitor.
Please note that when using this LISN without a transient limiter and testing AC-supplied products, it is highly recommended to protect the input of the connected analyser with a high-pass filter such as the Tekbox TBHPF2-150kHz high-pass filter.
For a calibrator that is suitable with the TBL05100-1C LISN, see the TBL05100-1C-CAL calibration kit.
