Scopes in the SDS2000X series are advanced 2 or 4 channel scopes that are the direct successors of the 2000 series. These scopes offer an 8" colour display and a capture rate of 140.000 wfm/s. The 2000X feature a massive 140 Mpts memory to allow for a large amount of data to be stored.
The scopes are available with 2 or 4 channels, and ranging from 70 up to 300 MHz bandwidth.
The 2000X applies the newest SPO Technologies with decreased jitter and a more sensitive triggering compared to the 2000 series. The triggering system supports a multitude of triggering types. Due to the improved SPO the scopes suffer less from background noise. Apart from normal 256-level intensity grading this scope can also display how often a value is present in the signal using colour temperatures. This allows the user to quickly analyse the signal that is displayed.
Apart from the already high 140.000 wfm/s capture rate, which is called 'normal mode', the scopes also offer a sequence mode that offers a capture rate of up to 500.000 waveforms/second. The scope takes a larger chunk of the signal and analyses the data all at once. This can offer advantages for debugging a signal.
The scopes offer a multitude of automated measurement functions and mathematical operations. Apart from that it is possible to store 80.000 frames that can be recalled individually. Combining this with minimal dead time allows the user to easily recognize irregularities with signals.
The models in the SDS2000X series differ mainly in bandwidth. Apart from that, models where the number ends with a 2 are 2-channel scopes. Models where the number ends in 4 are 4-channel scopes. In other properties, models within a series are identical.

16 channel logic-analyser | This 16 channel logic analyser makes it possible to analyse digital signals. The specifications of this product can be found on the page on the right.
Serial Decoding | Serial decoding allows you to decode the most common serial protocols such as IIC, SPI, UART/RS232, CAN, LIN on the scope.
Function generator | This option adds a 25 MHz arbitrary function generator to the scope. |
All these options can be added to the scope at a later date, should it become clear that they are necessary, because these are license codes.
