Andonstar AD409 Max-ES microscope

The AD409 Max-ES is part of the Andonstar series of microscopes. Unique to this product is that it has a very large Max stand assembly, allowing easy work on larger objects. The stand includes a silicone repair mat, various tool holders and storage compartments in the metal base. This product includes an endoscope, which allows for observation of the components at different angles.

The microscope has a large 10.1-inch LCD for image display or it can output video via HDMI (but not both at the same time), for remote viewing or presentation purposes. Both the screen and the stand are highly adjustable, making viewing objects from different angles and heights easy. The stand has two built-in LED spots with 8 selectable levels of illumination. The included UV filter protects the lens from heat, smoke, and dust.

Both the cabled and the IR remote controls allow switching between LED brightness levels but also between the endoscope, microscope and two-lens images. The IR remote control also allows many other simple operations without touching the microscope, such as taking pictures or zooming, rotating, inverting, line setting, and grey-scaling the image.

Once hooked to a PC via USB, the video can be displayed in real-time, and the device settings can be adjusted. Another option is to use the WiFi hotspot feature, which lets you connect with an iOS/Android smart device. Using the app, the microscope can be monitored and the photo/ video images can be remotely recorded. Please note that the endoscope output is not supported for PC.
