The Rigol DNA6082-R is a 2-port vector network analyser covering 5kHz to 8.5GHz. As part of the DNA6000-R series, it measures S-parameters, impedance, VSWR, and group delay and is suited to RF system integration, multi-port device testing, microwave module characterisation, production verification, and pre-compliance RF debugging. Unlike the compact DNA5000-series, the DNA6000-R series is a bench-format instrument with 2-port and 4-port configurations available across the range.
The DNA6000-R series delivers strong RF performance, with a typical dynamic range of 127dB (10MHz to 6.5GHz, at 10Hz IF BW) and trace noise as low as 0.003dB rms (typ.), which is an improvement over the DNA5000-series. The IF bandwidth is adjustable from 1Hz to 10MHz, giving direct control over the trade-off between measurement speed and noise floor. Frequency resolution is 1Hz across the full range.
Calibration options include SOLT, OSL, response, enhanced response, and ECal electronic calibration kits, with support for both mechanical cal kits and ECal in 2-port and 4-port configurations. The DNA6000-R series runs Linux and is designed for rack-mounted or remote-controlled operation, with support for Web Control, SCPI commands, and external keyboard and mouse operation. Connectivity includes LAN, USB host and device, Type-C, HDMI, GPIB, and Application I/O. The rack-mountable format, GPIB interface, SCPI support and web-based remote control make the DNA6082-R especially suitable for automated test environments, production verification and system integration.
