The Hakko FG100B is a thermometer especially designed for use with soldering irons. This meter is able to determine the temperature of a soldering iron tip up to ±3°C accuracy. It features a 3-point thermocouple sensor which is able to measure regardless of the angle of the soldering iron.
The FG100B also includes some advanced measurement functions such as auto hold and max hold. In addition to this, the device automatically count the amount of measurements so that the sensor can be replaced before it starts deviating. The thermometer makes use of a 9V battery, and will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of inactivity to preserve the battery. This meter is able to output measurements in Celsius or in Fahrenheit.
Also available for this product is a sensor with extended lifetime and a temperature probe for soldering baths.
