The Hakko FG-101B is a thermometer designed for use with soldering irons. The thermometer is capable of measuring the temperature of the soldering iron tip up to 700℃. It features the AS5000 thermocouple, which can measure regardless of the angle of the soldering iron. The FG-101B can also measure the leak voltage and the tip-to-ground resistance, which are required for a grounded soldering station. The leak voltage can be measured up to 40mV, and the tip-to-ground resistance can be measured up to 40Ω.
The FG-101B also includes some advanced measurement functions, such as auto hold and max hold. It can also send temperature measurement results to a soldering station with an IR receiver. The meter can also be used to measure the zero-point error using the auto-zero function.
Also available for this product is a temperature probe for soldering baths.
