The GW Instek PSW 800-2.88 is a programmable lab power supply that is ideal for testing, for example, a Device Under Test (DUT). The lab power supply has Constant Voltage- (CV) and Constant Current- (CC) modes, which are useful for the protection of DUT's particularly in the battery and LED industry. The 800V power supply has active cooling and an analog control, with an adjustable slew rate.
Another useful feature of PSW models is that it is capable of parallel operation (up to 3 units), to increase the total current. Take note that the PSW 800 models, in comparison to most other PSW models, can't operate in series.
The Over Voltage and Over Current Protections have adjustable levels, making them very suitable for the protection of DUT's.
The PSW 800 power supply series differ in total power, current range, ripple, dimensions and weight.
