The Guide IR E3S is a capable thermal imaging camera. The look and feel of the camera is similar to other cameras in the Guide E-series; it also has the new ApexVision S1 system. This new system consists of a new IR detector, image processing platform and algorithm. Resulting in a new thermal sensitivity of 15mK. The thermal camera has several practical features, such as the capability to record video, Wi-Fi, and real-time control via an app, and firmware updates via Wi-Fi. The performance and quality of this thermal camera can easily be compared with well-known brands like Flir.
Using both the IR resolution of 256x192 combined with the information obtained from its visible light camera, this thermal camera can deliver crisp, clear thermal images and videos on a larger 3.5-inch display. Besides the sensor, this camera offers other important features: auto hot & cold spot tracking, real-time AI-driven image optimisation, enhancing noise reduction, real-time super-resolution (512x384), alarm function, flashlight, and a laser. Furthermore, the thermal imaging camera has 32GB of built-in memory.
It can be mounted on a tripod because it features a 1/4 inch mount connector on the bottom of the handle. It is possible to view the IR video live over Wi-Fi with the Thermography app.
