The Fluke 117/323 is an electrician's combo kit. This kit includes the Fluke 117 multimeter and the Fluke 323 True-RMS clamp meter. Together they cover practically all day-to-day measurements for commercial and residential electrical work in the field, and both meters are rated CAT III 600V.
The Fluke 117 is a rugged true-RMS multimeter for electricians. VoltAlert™ technology detects voltage without contact, AutoVolt selects AC or DC voltage automatically, and the low-impedance mode (LoZ) suppresses ghost voltages. Readings appear on a backlit 6,000 counts display with a 33-segment bar graph, and Min/Max/Average recording makes fluctuating signals easy to analyse. Besides voltage, current, and resistance, the 117 also measures capacitance and frequency. This multimeter can function up to around 400 hours on one 9V battery.
The Fluke 323 is a compact True-RMS clamp meter that measures AC current up to 400A without breaking the circuit. Its slim jaw takes conductors up to 30mm, which suits crowded cable compartments, and the HOLD function keeps a reading on the large display while you work your way out of a panel. It also measures AC and DC voltage up to 600V and resistance up to 4 kΩ with continuity detection.
