The ELE-PSU3005D is a dual-channel, switching DC power supply designed for use in labs, workshops, and educational environments. As a switching-mode power supply, it is compact and lightweight, which is ideal for bench-top use. This design offers high efficiency but comes with a higher ripple than traditional linear power supplies, making it best suited for general electronics applications.
Each of the two output channels provides up to 30V and 5A, with a combined maximum power output of 300W. The voltage and current can be adjusted smoothly using digital rotary encoders with stepless control, with fine resolution down to 10mV and 1mA. Readouts for voltage, current, and power are clearly shown on 4-digit LCDs for both channels. The channels can also be used in series or parallel mode to increase voltage or current output.
The PSU supports constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes with automatic switching between them depending on the load. It also includes independent output switches for each channel, over-voltage and over-current protection (OVP/OCP), and 8 memory presets. The unit also features a panel lock to prevent accidental changes and a dedicated 5V / 2A USB charging port for external devices.
