XL500 industrial fume extractor
Details
The XL500 is a high power industrial fume extractor that can be used for
extracting fumes generated by industrial equipment.
The filter design has five stages consisting of a fire protection network, pre-, Polypropylene, Glass fiber (sold seperately) and activated
carbon filter. With these filters up to 99.99% of the particles bigger than 0.3µm can be filtered out
of the air. The filtered air is circulated back to the room. In case of a filter failure the XL500 has
an alarm system that indicates that there is a problem.
The XL500 is controlled by a microcomputer chip, has a digital display and can be controlled by a remote control. The observation
window makes it easy to inspect the state of the equipment and filters at any time. Furthermore, the unit stands on four castors with brakes, making it
easy to reposition the extractor.
Due to the high power and big airflow this extractor is perfect for fume extraction for industrial equipment.
For extracting only solder fumes, a smaller extractor such as the FE1B-ESD will suffice better.
To use spare fume extractor arms, we sell XL-500 adapters to connect spare arms, such as the FE1B(D)-ESD spare hose onto the XL-500.
