Details
The Weller PRISMA is a premium ESD-safe 3D microscope for nano soldering, rework and electronics inspection. This microscope uses eyepiece-less optics, so the image is viewed from a distance in true 3D rather than through eyepieces. Separate optical paths give each eye its own slightly offset view, which is what builds the stereo depth: joint shape, component height and lead placement are seen in relief instead of as a flat image, so probe and iron land accurately first time. Working at a distance keeps both eyes relaxed, suits users who wear glasses, and leaves room to move the board and tools freely under the lens. A 20 LED array at 9400lux and 7000K lights the work area with a natural white light.
The supplied standard 4x lens gives a 96mm working distance and a 27.5mm field of view. Lenses are interchangeable, and lens protection caps, a dust cover, desiccants and spare LED strips are available separately.
