The Vision Mantis Compact 3D microscope features eyepiece-less optics that does not require the user to watch into the eyepiece but allows for viewing from distance. This is ideal for user with glasses and also lowers the strain on the eyes and allows for freedom of movement. Viewing the object from the distance will also allow more light to shine on the object and results in a more natural view. The freedom of movement also provides easier handling of the object as you will have a better peripheral view from a distance compared to looking into eyepieces of a traditional microscope. Additional lighting is also included in the form of 20 long life LEDs. The Vision Mantis Compact supports magnifcation of 2x to 8x. However, these lenses are not included and we recommend to purchase one of these lenses as well as the standalone 3D microscope does not include any magnification.
