The Peak Electronics LCR40 is a simple, compact LCR meter designed for measuring passive components. It can measure resistance up to 2MΩ, capacitance up to 10,000µF and inductance up to 2H. The meter automatically determines the component type and test frequency to provide the most accurate results. Furthermore, the LCR40 uses detachable probes which can be swapped to SMD tweezers or needle probes. It is recommended that when switching probes, the probe compensation should be re-measured to ensure that the probes impedance doesn't skew the results for lower value components.
If you need an LCR meter which has a higher resolution and more component information, consider the LCR45, which is the upgraded version of the LCR40.
