Details
The Techmize TH9201 is an AC/DC Hi-Pot tester with proven reliability for safety testing of transformers, motors, household appliances, electronic modules and insulation materials. The instrument combines four test functions in one: AC withstand voltage up to 5kV at 30mA, DC withstand voltage up to 6kV at 10mA, insulation resistance from 0.1MΩ to 10GΩ at up to 1kV, and an open/short check that verifies the test leads before the high-voltage test. Arc detection, ground-current detection, an electric wall and full OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP protection make the tester safe for use on the production line.
This hi-pot tester has up to 500 programmable test steps, adjustable rise and fall times and a Dot-matrix LCD (240x64) with numeric keypad and rotary knob, making automated, repeatable safety tests fast and intuitive. After every DC withstand voltage or insulation resistance test, the TH9201 automatically discharges the device under test, removing any residual charge before the operator handles it. Its handler and PLC signal outputs let the tester issue start, stop and pass/fail signals directly to a production line, and connecting an optional scanner extends testing to up to 16 channels for multi-point products.
