Details

The Voltera V-One is a PCB printer which uses an additive method that deposits a silver-based ink to make traces. The ink has a conductivity that is an order of magnitude lower than traditional copper traces; however, it is still capable of handling most digital and analog applications. This makes it an ideal machine for classrooms, engineers, and start-ups who need rapid prototyping and iteration of designs. The printer can also dispense T4/T5 solder paste on prefabricated boards or on V-One-made boards. Furthermore, the recommended pin pitch for solder paste is 0.5mm, and the printer has an integrated hotplate for reflowing the solder, which has a maximum temperature of 240°C, allowing for the use of a wide range of solder paste alloys. The Voltera V-one can also be purchased with a drill attachment, which allows the printer to create vias for through-hole components and double-sided boards.

The Voltera V-One comes with an easy-to-use desktop application for importing your PCB design files from common eCAD software such as KiCad, Eagle, and Altium, which all have export guides for the V-One. The printer comes with everything you need to print your first PCB, such as an introductory starter kit, FR1 and FR4 substrates, conductive ink, and solder paste.
