Make your soldering and repair work easy with this multifunctional silicone mat. This mat is pliable, so it will return to its original shape. It comes with small storage boxes, which can be used for storing small components, it also has 5 magnetic areas and there are different tool holders available.
This is not an ESD-safe mat. An ESD mat actively dissipates static charge via the weakly conductive material and a cable to ground. This mat is fully insulating.

I find the size and the design of this mat to be the best for professional use. The magnetic parts of the mat are very useful. No weird smell and that big Velleman logo sets it apart from similar mats. Very pleased.

Vellmann mat is AWESOME! Love it, good quality gum, doesn't smell bad as the majority of those cheap ones, easy to clean, magnetic places to hold your stuff and pretty much intelligent design. Recommended 10/10
