The Sequre HT140 desoldering tweezers with active tip is one of the first handheld USB-C-powered desoldering tweezers. The tweezers are powered via USB or DC5525, using a battery or adapter, eliminating the need for a separate station. The recommended 65W power supply allows the HT140 to reach a temperature of 500°C within 5 seconds. The tweezers support a power supply of up to 140W, which heats the tips to 500°C in 3 seconds. In addition, the soldering tweezers are equipped with a nice grip and an OLED screen, which shows current and set temperatures. The tweezers are controlled by a two-button interface that allows you to set the temperature, temperature increments, sleep time, and much more.
The tweezers are precise enough (with the tips supplied) for fine SMD components such as 0402, 0603 and 0805, but are also suitable for larger components when used with the optionally available tips.
Moreover, the tweezers can convert all the power to either the left or the right tip, allowing you to perform regular soldering jobs with one tip. Additionally, the tweezers include two grounding wires, which connect the adapter with a grounded device to ensure a grounded tip. Finally, the tweezers come with a solid metal stand, on which you can safely place the tweezers when they are not in use.
The tweezer tips are secured by little screws. Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this can leave dents in the soldering tip. Additionally, the soldering tweezers are compatible with the HT140 tips.
