Rohde & Schwarz NPA701 power analyser

The Rohde & Schwarz NPA701 is part of the R&S NPA series of single-phase power analysers. It is designed for AC/DC load or standby current characterisation with an accuracy of 0.05% and a low current measurement of 5mA. The analyser requires no additional tools for graphical analysis and compliance testing.

It has numerical displays of 26 critical parameters with a fast update rate of 100ms and an auto-range function to enhance testing efficiency. Furthermore, the product features frequency and adaptive filters to eliminate unnecessary noise, ensuring smooth and accurate results. The display content can be saved to a USB flash drive or shared through the Ethernet and USB interfaces.

Unique to this series is the timestamped logging to CSV for a nearly unlimited period. And especially in this particular model, the evaluation functions are in line with IEC 62301, EN 50564 and EN 61000-3-2 industry standards. However, if enhanced measurement functions and graphics are not required, the R&S NPA101 is a cheaper option. And if only measurement functions are a requirement, but not the IEC and EN industry standards, the R&S NPA501 is recommended.
