Details

The FPC-EMI1 is a promotional package which consists out of the R&S FPC1000 spectrum analyser with the following options included:

  • FPC-B22 preamplifier setting
  • FPC-K43 EMI receiver mode
  • FPC-Z1 cable for the R&S HM6050-2 two-line impedance stabilisation network

Included options

The B22 option increases the preamplifier sensitivity to a typical level of -165 dBm. Most entry level SAs measure up to +20 dBm, while the FPC can handle signals of up to +30 dBm (1 W). This allows for a very wide dynamic measurement range.

Commonly used in combination with the B22 is the K43 option. It allows EMI debugging, the ability to record two traces and to display a log-scale of the frequency axis. Paired with the B22 option this makes a great match for measuring and analysing small interfering signals.


The Rohde & Schwarz FPC1000 is a 1 GHz spectrum analyser that has a good price quality ratio. This spectrum analyser has a large 10.1" LCD screen and is equipped with advanced measurement functions. Furthermore, the FPC1000 can be connected to a PC via USB and LAN connections. Of course it is also possible to store measurement data using a USB stick.
