Heated tin extractor reviews

I used another soldering iron and another sucker for the "main" desoldering.
As usual, there are small left overs making the 12 pins joystick super hard to remove from a gamepad.

This soldering manage to remove everything and heat up the pads! I recommend heavily instead of betting on wicks! It heat up super hot enough for classic soldering too!

It's so cheap too!

Will it last? because if it manages to, it's an amazing product.
Works exactly like you would expect, leaving a clean, separated pin and pads on the first pass most of the times. Sometimes it takes one more.

The nozzle has quite a large opening so for small pins you've got to "wiggle" it a bit to make contact all around.

Opening it up for cleaning is a bit of a challenge, managed to do it after looking for a video online.

Let's just hope it doesn't melt itself on the long run an6d
