Maha Powerex C800S reviews

The charger does its job, there are just 3 items to note:

1. (positive) it does not have a fan like the C980
2. (negative) you won't see the battery capacity after conditioning, which is really useful because sometimes less used batteries need 2-3 cycles of conditioning to get back to full capacity
3. (negative) the middle two battery status indicators on the lcd are very faded (from the beginning, possibly bent display/alignment), the are readable at an angle; generally the C980s display is much clearer and better; then again it's a charger, not a tv...

If you want a quiet 8-battery charger that is not quite top-of-the-line, this is it.
