The Owon XDS4352 is a two-channel 350 MHz oscilloscope within the XDS4000 series from Owon. The XDS4352 is quite versatile as it features a high variety in functionality. Notable are the exceptionally high sample rate (5 GSa/s single-channel), memory (4 Mpts) and waveform capture rate (600,000 wfms/s), especially at this price point. The latter makes it trivial to capture transient anomalies and low-probability events such as jitter and transition errors. Additionally, the input impedance is switchable (50 Ω or 1 MΩ), allowing for various signal sources to be used.
All oscilloscopes within the XDS4000 series come pre-installed with 40 automatic measurement types, and several waveform math functions. One of these is a real-time FFT function for spectrum analysis, featuring a maximum frequency range of the oscilloscope analogue bandwidth. These oscilloscopes also have a single-channel waveform generator of 50 MHz, which comes with 64 built-in waveforms. Using this generator, frequency sweeps can be carried out to obtain Bode plots. This can be useful for evaluating the loop stability margins of a system, and therefore determining whether a system is stable or not.
Finally, all measurements can be read comfortably off of the 10.4" LCD display, with the multi-touch screen making it easier to operate the oscilloscope.
