The Kyoritsu 2012RA is a true RMS multimeter with an included current probe that can measure up to 600V/120A. This meter features all basic multimeter measurement functions such as voltage, current, resistance, continuity, diode test, capacitance and even frequency. Next to this it comes with a built in current clamp with a open-jaw specification that supports conductor diameters up to 12 mm. This clamp has been designed and optimized specifically for working in tight spaces where other clamps are too large. The current probe also features quick one-button zero adjust.
Because the 2012RA supports true RMS measurements, it is particularly good at providing accurate measurements in the presence of harmonics. Therefore, this meter is perfectly suited for work with photovoltaic installations, inverters, fluorescent lamps, and UPS's. All these functionalities together make for a very versatile multimeter.
