Details
The JBC DMPSD-2QB is an all-in-one station for soldering and rework purposes. This set contains a vacuum pump, a soldering station, and the corresponding handles and holders.
Soldering
The DME control station provides connections for four soldering tools that can be used at the same time. A wide range of JBC modular series soldering and desoldering tools can be connected to this station. Included in this set are the AM210 adjustable micro tweezers, the T210 precision handle, and T245 iron.
The large 2.8" TFT colour screen makes it easy to install and manage temperatures. Furthermore, this station offers detailed real-time graphs displaying temperature and power data. The DME also includes an extensive menu where various user settings are easily adjustable and can even be assigned to specific tools. The control unit features a USB-A port for firmware updates, and a USB-B port for PC communications. Also, the unit has a FAE connector for remote control or FAE fume extractor connection.
Desoldering
The MSE-B is the electric desoldering module that provides the required vacuum. It offers a suction capacity of 35 SLPM. This will be connected to the DME station to a DT530 desoldering iron. This tool is ideal for desoldering through-hole components. The tip of the desoldering iron should only be changed when hot, and a tool for safe hot-tip replacement is included.
Holders
This soldering station includes stands and holders for each tool. These stands feature intelligent functions, such as automatically cutting off power to the iron when placed in the holder, significantly extending the life of the tip. In addition, they include systems for safe hot-tip replacement, eliminating the need to wait for the tip to cool down before swapping.
Extra (de)soldering tips
No soldering cartridges for the soldering iron are included with the station. However, one of the advantages of JBC systems is the wide variety of available tip shapes suitable for virtually any application (see the blue button below). These cartridges feature integrated heating elements for faster heat-up and better thermal transfer.
No additional nozzles are included for desoldering, but various compatible nozzles are available, starting at diameters as small as 0.6 mm (see the blue button below).
The default 2-year warranty can be extended to 3 years by registering your device.
