Hakko FX-600D soldering iron

The Hakko FX-600D is the digital version of the stand-alone soldering iron. In contrast to the non-digital FX-600, the FX-600D has a digital temperature adjustment knob, this allows you to set the tip temperature more accurate. The soldering iron is suitable for fine soldering work, for example, soldering an IC, Leds or a PCB. For a more heavy-duty stand-alone soldering iron, consider the Hakko FX-601. Like all our Hakko products, this is a 100% original Hakko product that is suitable for 220/230V and has a European plug.

With the T18 series soldering tip which is included with this iron, the FX-600D achieves great heat conductivity and recovery without increasing its power consumption. Additionally, the FX-600D also supports the use of T19 series soldering tips with a separately sold adapter. Its lightweight and compact design means that the FX-600D is very easy to handle. The iron features a scroll wheel to set the temperature, when the wheel is pushed the temperature will be set to the value that is visible on the display. Furthermore, the LED on the iron provides a good indication of when the desired temperature has been reached.

This soldering iron unfortunately does not come with a stand or brass wool. But the Hakko 633-01 is a good alternative and complements this soldering iron very well.
