The Hakko B5122 is an enclosure pipe that lets the soldering iron of the Hakko FX-888DX to fit T19 tips. T19 are large-format tips, best known from the popular Hakko FX-601 soldering iron.
By fitting these larger tips, the B5122 effectively turns your FX-888DX into a high-thermal-mass iron suitable for Tiffany and stained-glass work, where the bigger tip delivers the heat needed for long, continuous seams.
