The GW Instek GPP-3650 is a programmable DC power supply with 3 channels with an output power of 385W. The first two channels have an output voltage of 0-36V and an output current of 0-5A.
The third channel has an output voltage of 1.8/2.5/3.3/5V and an output current of 5A. With an output current of 5A for both channels this power supply delivers more than the usual 3A current of models such as the GPP-4323.
The GPP-3650 has a high program resolution of 1mV/0.1mA, read back resolution of 0.1 mV/0.1 mA and low-ripple noise of ≤ 1mVrms/≤ 2mArms.
An unique funtion the GPP-3650 has is polarity reverse protection, through which the power supply is protected against reverse connected batteries. The power supply has an internal circuit that allows the first two channels to be connected in series or in parallel, without the need of additional wiring.
It also has multiple display modes, including single or multi-channel setting values, measurment values and waveform displays. It is also possible to set conditions to protect the DUT by an audible alarm or by automatically switching off the power supply.
Furthermore, this power supply has an output recorder function, which can record the voltage/current to the internal memory, and the result can be stored as .REC or .CSV file.
Electronic load
The GW Instek GPP-3650 has a load function that allows CH1 and CH2 to also be used as a load.
CH1 and CH2 can draw a combined max power of 50W. The load can function in CV, CC, and CR mode.
Furthermore, the function of both channels can be chosen independently allowing for the use of 2 power supplies, 1 power supply & 1 load, or 2 loads.
