Calibration information

This multimeter is calibrated to factory standards in a Dutch lab. Of course Fluke also calibrated the meter during production and found it to be good, but for traceability and extra security it is important for many companies to have a recent and independent calibration report of the meter.

You will receive a recent and traceable calibration certificate, i.e. that the measurement values obtained can be substantiated and ultimately (including uncertainties) traceable to the SI units such as Volt, Ampere, seconds, etc. The calibration takes place in a conditioned room in terms of humidity and temperature; only when the meter is used in similar conditions can the values be guaranteed.

Should you wish to recalibrate the meter after one year, you can easily arrange this yourself via https://www.toolscan.eu/nl/. On this portal you can also save your certificates and view the history per instrument.

In addition to this (simpler) traceable calibration, there is also the accredited calibration in accordance with ISO 17025. With such a calibration there are additional requirements to the used equipment, circumstances and personnel. This involves higher costs, and in most cases is not necessary. If you would like to have an accredited calibration we can also provide this at an additional cost, please contact us.

The rugged Fluke 117 multimeter has the quality you've come to expect from Fluke and is a must-have for any electrician. In addition to all the standard measurement features, this multimeter also has a VoltAlert technology that allows contactless voltage detection and a low impedance mode that makes sure that no ghost voltages get measured. Furthermore, the multimeter has a min, max, and average hold function which makes analyzing signal fluctuations easy.

This multimeter has a large backlit 6000 counts display on which the values, even in dark environments, can easily be read. In addition, the values on the screen are updated every 4 seconds and the meter has a 33 segment bar graph. The meter is powered by a 9-volt battery and has a working time of ~400 hours (without backlight).
