COM-Power PS-400 near field probe set
Details
The COM-Power PS-400 set contains 3 types of near field probes with female BNC connectors. In general, they are designed to discover radiation problems from cables, cases, traces and ICs before expensive compliance testing is done.
Typically the broadband probe is used to locate the general area of emission. Then the fine tip probe is used to isolate the source to a specific (malfunctioning) trace or pin. The loop H-field probe is used most often to verify the integrity of the chassis of a computer or other magnetic noise sources, such as large current switching circuits and transformers.
