Brymen BM878 multimeter & insulation tester

The Brymen BM878 is a combination of a True-RMS digital multimeter and an insulation tester. This makes the meter very versatile for both troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Both when working on motors or switches, this inexpensive centipede can do its job very well. The BM878 is the extended version of the Brymen BM877 and comes with features such as Smooth mode and X-Speed Capacitance that respectively flatten unstable insulation resistance values and can measure up to 30 mF of capacitance within a few seconds.

On the 6.000 count display of this multimeter it is possible to display accurate readings. The BM878 has a wide range of features, such as True RMS AC & DC voltage and current measurement, resistance, capacitance, temperature, frequency and insulation resistance measurement. The meter has a dual-display function in which two different measurement values can be displayed simultaneously.

With the Brymen BM878 it is also possible to store MAX, MIN, MAX-MIN and AVG values. It can also measure insulation resistance in 5 different test voltages: 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000V. Furthermore, the meter has a 61-segment bar graph that is updated 60 times per second, to show quick changes in the measured values.
