Brymen BM198PV current clamp
Details
The Brymen BM198PV digital clamp meter is designed for PV power generation applications, where meters need to measure high DC voltages and deal with large inrush currents. The BM198PV has a CAT IV 1000V and CAT III 1500VDC rating and is also capable of measuring up to 2000A. The meter is equipped with a 55mm jaw to measure large conductors. It also has features such as high-voltage ACV measurements, EF-detection and the ability to measure the fundamental frequency and voltage of VFDs.
The CREST function of Brymen has also been optimised to perform short peak RMS measurements up to a time span of 5ms. In addition, the BM198PV can perform all standard measurements such as AC & DC True-RMS voltage and current, resistance (up to 6 levels), capacity, frequency and temperature. A BRUA-19X USB kit can also be ordered optionally with the BM198PV to connect the meter to a PC for storing measurement results.
