Atten ST-7800 hotplate
Details
The Atten ST-7800 is a large ESD-safe hot plate, but it can function as a basic pre-heater. This device heats up extfast due to the 800W and the aluminium plate with a very high efficiency. The heating area has a size of 20x18cm, which surely is enough for most preheating jobs, and can reach temperatures up to 350°C. An internal closed-loop temperature sensor makes sure that the temperature remains constant and is accurate. With an external K-type thermocouple you can easily measure the temperature of the PCB. Moreover, the hotplate has an OLED display, showing operating temperatures, and a quick selection of set presents.
The hotplate is ideal for reworking PCBs and one side soldering jobs. Finally, the ST-7800 has several connecting capabilities, it can be connected to other devices via RS485 for example. Overall the Atten ST-7800 is a great pick for rework of most PCBs.
