The fume extractor is mainly meant to prevent fume inhalation. Due to the limited filtering capacity (1 carbon filter) consider a higher-grade fume extractor when more serious filtering and extraction is needed.
Furthermore, this device can be placed both horizontally and vertically. When used horizontally it absorbs fumes in a smaller area but with a higher flow rate (2.6 m³/min). When used vertically, it has a wider area of fume absorption at a lower flow rate (1.03 m³/min).
The filter is easily accessible and replaceable, but note that the filter only consists of one carbon filter. Finally, this fume extractor has a handy LED bar at the top of the device, ensuring more light on your work surface.
